Holder Says Democrats Have to Do This if Trump Fills Supreme Court Vacancy

The Democrats' true colors are showing through, for those who couldn't seem them clearly already. Former US Attorney General Eric Holder joined other Democrats on Saturday in calling on Joe Biden and Senate Democrats to pack the Supreme Court if they retake power in November. Holder said the conservative majority on the Supreme Court would be "illegitimate" if President Trump fullfills his Constitutional obligation to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

"You would have a conservative majority on the court, an illegitimate conservative majority on the court, ruling on these matters that will affect the nation, you know, for generations to come," Holder lamented to MSNBC's Al Sharpton.

After lamenting about the nomination of Merrick Garland, who Obama futilely put forth during an election year when his party was out of power in the Senate, Holder said Democrats must rewrite the Constitution in order to pack the Supreme Court with liberals.

"If in fact they are successful in placing a justice on the court, I think what Democrats have to do, assuming that Biden is president and there is a Senate majority for the Democrats, we need to think about court reform. And at a minimum, as part of that reform package, I think additional justices need to placed on the Supreme Court."

This has been the plan all along, even before Ginsburg's death. Democrats can't wait to end the filibuster and rip up the Constitution so they can force their left-wing agenda on the American people. Anyone who reveres the country and the Constitution cannot let these people gain power.

EEven Ruth Bader Ginsburg opposed the idea of packing the Supreme Court.

I wish PresidentTrump would hold a presser and say “First, I would like to give credit to democrat leaders for proposing an increase in the size of SCOTUS. I think thats a great idea! So much so that I am doing so by an Executive Order adding and immediately filling four additional Justices in addition to the vacancy created by the passing of Justice Ginsburg. The last thing I want to do is being accused of stealing their idea so I am naming the Executive Order the Nadler Act of 2020. Who says I don’t reach across the isle to work with the democrats when they come up with a great idea like this. I am also having hats made with the new slogan: MSCOTUSGA - Make SCOTUS Great Again.”

Scalia was murdered. Nothing was ever done about this crime.

But it did seem like the Dems knew they were found out. They quit pushing for a quick replacement like they probably intended.

I think the odds are high that Trump’s first nominee, no matter who it is, will not be confirmed. I’d be inclined to push out my second choice first because the Dems don’t have the cash to cripple every nominee but they will try like hell to scuttle the first one.

A time may come when Republicans can pack the court.

And it may be soon.

Yup, what is far more likely is if Dems ever steal their way back into power a few conservative justices mysteriously come to a bad end.

The Marxists would actually do such a thing.

We probably should have removed him and his enablers from their offices with tar, feathers and a rope. Since we didn’t, it just emboldened them to even more illegal efforts. Look at Biden’s VP, Mattress Mo. She’s not eligible to be president but they’re running with her.

The GOP wanted to run ineligibles, too.
That’s why they did not challenge Obama.
Both parties wanted the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending it.
Precedent Obama has served that purpose.
Cruz, Jindal and Rubio , all ineligible, all ran in 2016.
Haley and George P. Bush hope for their own usurpations.
Just because Congress failed their duty does not change the Constitution.
We need to keep insisting on natural born citizen only, Obama showed us what a disaster not following the Constitution can be.

Yes FDR tried it and the perception is the effort failed but the truth is to avoid the action the SC rolled over and gave the New Deal a pass sort of like Obongo care. I believe it was Jefferson who wanted to outlaw political parties, he saw they would come when said despicable party would emerge and carve out the country’s core to achieve total power and here we are.

Yep, we got it, the LEFT regards any non-LEFT member of government an illegitimate usurpation of their rights. Thank you Eric!

Yes as Jefferson fervently formed his own party to counter the pro-federal government faction.

It's a ludicrous to think you can ban parties. Parties\factions are part of human nature. The only place where parties are banned are communist\authoritarian dictatorships & absolute monarchies. "Parties" still form to influence "government (and advance careers!)" over "issues" there just not out in the open. They're called "factions" !

Legislation is difficult by design.

And a beautiful design it is too. Of course, that's exactly why libs want the courts, so they can legislate from the bench. It's so much easier.

Precisely. Which is probably why Franklin said it’s a Republic if you can keep it.

Apparently, the Senate is only allowed to do its job if (a) they are majority Democrat, or (b) it’s earlier than May in an election year.

Eric Holder is the former AG that sold machine guns & hand grenades from DOD stock to Mexican narco cartels for cash that never seems to be logged in as evidence. And now this assist wants to pack the court!
