Full Court press we go Mr. President.
Remember Pelosi laughing at us when she had the Bart vote for OBondageCare.

Well, that would be rather dumb. Surely Stephanopoulus isn’t so ignorant that’s he unaware why this idea wouldn’t work.

The last and very recent impeachment debacle was a complete and total partisan sham that they are running from during this election. Like everything the crazy Libs have done lately I can guarantee that they overreact and drive Indy’s running into Trump’s arms.

The House and Senate have absolutely zero authority to influence the other’s processes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mitch McConnell smiling as broadly as he did back in January when he publicly scolded Nancy Pelosi for daring to think she could tell him how to manage the Senate trial over her stupid impeachment articles.

This is perfect. The Senate can vote NO on impeachment at 10AM and YES on the new SC nominee at 11AM.

Or reverse order, they simply say “We’ll take up this impeachment thing after we confirm the SC nominee.” They want games, they get games.

1. Let them try

2. Impeachment would not prevent a new justice from being nominated or confirmed.

Seriously, I would love for the Democrats to make such a crazy move right before the elections.

No, this was a waste of a statement and a waste of a thread

What the HELL does such nonsense have to do with a senate vote in SCOTUS pick?

Is Trump supposed to go by some non existent “protocol” because of house bullsh.t?

Who is that "we," of which you speak?

Blush! Perhaps I should have just said; "Impeachment is just a CHARGE from The House of Representatives, not a conviction which comes from a trial in the US Senate!

Kudos to the good teachers that taught us, they appear to be rara avis in schools of today!

Article 2, Section 2. Which explains all the machinations that went on behind the Trans-Pacific Partnership and why all that talk suddenly ended. Julian Assange even leaked some of the secret information congressmen didn’t even know about. Maybe I should have said didn’t want the American public to know about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Pacific_Partnership

They can vote on it 5 minutes after receiving it and dispose of it.

Wasn’t there something about a President under impeachment not being able to nominate? Sounds stupid but vaguely familiar.
