Trump fires back after Dems indicate impeachment could be used to block court nominee (i.e. Dems throw Challenge Flag)
Fox News ^ | 9/21/20 | Brooke Singman

President Trump on Monday claimed he would win the presidential election if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi actually attempted to use impeachment as an option to block his eventual Supreme Court nominee from being confirmed to the seat vacated by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Roberts can’t be trusted at all. Just my opinion.

Not even close to being tied and the Dems are o their own 1/2 yard line with 2 minutes to go and are down 38-7!

Impeachment’s done in the House. Mitch would ignore it and push all this judges (including SC) to confirmation.

At what point will they just call it as it is....A coup!

Pelosi is salavating to take the seat of the President by using every means to stall/derail the election results... flooding the courts with lawsuites, disputes over ballots, and of course controlling the SCOTUS appointment where they ultimately intend to take election results.

Pelosi can step up as Pres. if there are no results called by Jan...

I like baseball analogies myself. Tie game - bottom of ninth and the relief pitcher, Ginsburg, is out of juice and the bull pen is empty. Schumer, a southpaw, is brought in but he has a high era and has let up some big hits. Trump is up with McConnell on second. McConnell a career .250 hitter has been fairly consistent as of late in this situation as he got on with a sliding double. Trump, batting cleanup, batting about .300 with some real clutch hits as of late. Catching is Pelosi, who doesn’t really call a good game.

San Fran Nan is threatening to impeach, if the president exercises his Article II, Section 2 power to nominate judges for the Supreme Court.

I can’t wait to hear the twisted justification for this.

Which would you rather fight hand to hand, the Amish (not the FR overused joke ones-—the real ones) or the well armed and violent “teens” in a ghetto neighborhood the police consider too dangerous a “no-go” zone for them to enter?

I would rather be on the side with 60% of the population than the side with 13% of the population. They are the ones that need to be careful, if they push too much and all of a sudden they will realize they have a tiger by the tail.

The house will never elect her president. GOP has the majority by state delegation.

It takes a long time to bring an impeachment forward, especially if it is bogus and you have to find the right witnesses to make the case.

Go for it. Nothing could be better for Trump than another bogus impeachment attempt six weeks out.

Ds don’t have the cajones to try such a blatantly partisan, disruptive tactic, but just the talk of it is beneficial. Let’s explore this option more throughly.

Keep it up. I really, really, sincerely, fingers crossed and hope to die want Ds to try it. Please, please, please. It’ll work....this time. Trust me.

It’s a familiar phenomenon: ostensibly conservative Justices moving to the left once they are confirmed. Plus, Kagan has been assiduously courting his support. Some call her the Shadow Chief Justice. When a new Justice is confirmed, the group dynamics will change once again.

I read that Pelosi’s term ends Jan. 3, and if no federal election takes place, she would have to leave office, just like the president and vice president. That would mean the president pro tempore of the Senate would assume office. Currently, that is Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley.???

Additionally Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stated......”Never in the history of the country, through wars and depressions and the Civil War, have we ever not had a federally scheduled election on time, and we’ll find a way to do that again this November 3.”

“Game is tied. It’s fourth down, ball is on the Republican’s own 1 yard line.“

Really? That’s not at all what I’m seeing.

President Trump is a shoo in for re-election - even despite mail-in voting shenanigans.

The President has positioned himself over four years as “the adult in the room”, while deftly maneuvering and baiting the Democrats into all manner of childish and desperate behavior.

Biden will keep that one third of the electorate who would vote for a dog poop sandwich as long as it has a “D” next to it.

President Trump will keep that one third of the electorate who would vote for a diaper load of John McCain if it had an R next to it (I did that!).

Then there is the other one third: Two thirds of the other third will be voting for President Trump, the adult in the room.

That works out to:

Trump = 33.33 + (33.33 X .66) = 55.55
Harris = 33.33 + (33.33 X .33) = 44.44

An incumbent President is virtually assured re-election, unless he is Jimmy Carter and has to face Ronald Reagan. Or unless he is Bush Sr and loses 20 million Republican votes to that idiot third party spoiler Ross Perot.

Buzzie’s death only helps -
Covid shutdowns only help -
BLM Antifa riots only help -

The worse things are, the more voters will want calm and steady leadership... the Democrats are acting crazy and unpredictable... Biden is not all there...

2020 is a no-brainer: Trump wins and it’s nit even close.

Pelosi was heard muttering about maybe launching another Trump Impeachment Show to block conformation of his USSC nominee.

But only her hairdresser knows for sure.
