Anything you can point to that points out she is an “originalist?” I’m not doubting it, I want to learn more about her
IMHO, the focus on abortion is good, but its much more important to be an originalist first. After all, it was the Warren Court’s “penumbras and emanations” which paved the way for not only nation-wide abortion, but also gay-marriage, and all other kinds of court-enforced leftist social-engineering.
There is talk that Amy is pro-lockdown because of a decision she made. But she made the right decision based on the arguments being made. This shows she respects the law rather than her feelings which makes me even more of a supporter.

My concern is this; is she indeed a “true” conservative, or another in a long line of failures who profess conservatism but deliver something else? Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh?

So we have a presumed live person who has obtained his or her info 2nd or 3rd hand from a traitorous "confidant" leaking a "private conversation" to CNN. Timing in politics is always a dance.
The biggest reason for Amy Barret is John Roberts. Plus the 2020 elections.
I’m no lawyer, but I think it’s highly interesting that she is interested in both originalism and stare decisis. I think there are some “precedents” which should be ignored. Perhaps she would agree with that, if she is an originalist. She may see her way to undoing some damage.
I think it remains ACB. The fact she’s been through the wringer already and has the GOP Senators already on record cinches it. The Latina needs to marinate a little more.

She is also brilliant, she graduated that the top of her class in high school, college and law school. She has a long paper trail and has been published many times. There is no better candidate male of female which is why the Marxists are beside themselves at the thought of a brilliant conservative on the SC.

I do not think the Ds attempt to smear Barrett with anti-Catholic rhetoric will bring “catholics” to Trump. Most real Catholics are fully in his camp and the woke catholics are already never trumpers.
