Many harsh words are traded on Twitter each day. Dick Costolo, the former CEO of the company, added some of his own tonight.
Costolo was responding to a debate that has consumed tech’s elite on Twitter over the past few days, an argument about whether the industry should actively promote social justice causes and encourage political conversations at work. Costolo’s comments had the effect of dumping a jerrycan’s worth of fuel on the fire. “Me-first capitalists who think you can separate society from business are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution,” he tweeted. “I'll happily provide video commentary.”

When I taught school, I was told I was scaring the students. I have had people tell me all of my adult life that people are afraid of me. I am short physically and not muscular at all. I have never hurt anyone. My fellow citizens do not scare me at all. For some reason, I scare them...apparently from some of the things I say. And, I am prepared to back up what I say and people who know me know that I am...in creative ways. Guns are not the sum total of life. A mind that can think of things to do to you other than using a gun is the most dangerous weapon.
I was was involved a a minor nonverbal dispute over a parking spot at Walmart. I let the other person have the spot, waited a while in the store and then from several feet away (carrying CHL of course - all the time) and said, "There's no parking space worth dying for." The other person actually agreed and we parted ways peacefully. It's all how you say it.

I know how you feel. My great grandfather left his family near Winchester Virginia and joined the 1st Ohio artillery battery L. Ended the war near his home. Never faced his brothers in battle but he couldn’t know that in the field.
He was in many bloody battles and saw the Shenandoah valley in ruins.

This is happening in the business world because most CEOs are college educated folks with tons of their senior management and employees who are college educated folks and who all, for the most part, left college less than thirty years ago.
While in college they were all submitted to the encroachment of Marxist thought into just about every academic program. They have been indoctrinated to be “good socialists” no matter that they are in capitalist companies in a nominally capitalist society.
At this time the memes the Left is using in its latest Marxist agenda are resonating with the Marxist themes many of their college courses were imbued with. In other words, whether CEOs or activists in their companies, they were prepped like dogs to respond in a certain way when certain whistles gave out their call. Like lemmings they are answering the call of the pied pipers who indoctrinated them.
None of them are, or will, stop to get the information that shows the entire current agenda of the Marxists is based on a factual lie, a lie that has been proven to be a lie by no less than a black Harvard economics professor - no, blacks are not disproportionately killed by the police in violent encounters with the police. We are instead all witness to a media that only reports the deaths during encounters with the police that fit the Marxist narrative, and thus the general public impression knows no better than the Marxist theme. And who “educated” those “journalists” in the media? The same Marxists whose whistles the “woke” CEOs are answering to.

The American far Left at the time was quite Nazi friendly. They were getting marching orders from Moscow, and the Soviets were somewhat allied with the Nazis in the pre-war years and thru the dismemberment of Poland. So the American Left said and did plenty of pro-Nazi things. Then came Hitler’s attack on Russia in Spring 1941, so that ended.
Of course we ended up fighting the Nazis as well, and after the war, the American far Left needed a cover story for their pre-war friendliness towards the Nazis. And thus was born the big lie that the Nazis were Right Wing, and the Left never played footsie with them in the pre-war years.
As with many things, the Left has to continually lie to hide their true history and beliefs.
I would say if a red state(s) secedes they go with my blessing. After they secede I don't care what happens internally because it is not my problem. The can go full Kansas bleeding for all I care.
Me-first capitalists? Me thinks Costolo does not understand capitalism or wants to reinvent it. Costolo is not only assaulting America with his drivel, he is assaulting capitalism which is at the core of America. Costolo has made it, probably with great help of politicians, lobbying and laws written to help him and hurt the little guy. He has his slice of the pie so now he can pick winners and losers without consequence. That’s not how capitalism works. It’s not how the American dream is achieved.
I understand all that- but it is the people CAUSING all the chaos I was addressing.
What kind of person can cause violence like that? What kind of person is willing to kill for that?

Also- if you look on Wikipedia and even Webster online dictionary they actually define fascism as ‘far-right’ extremism, when it is actually far left.
Anarchy is NO government.
Conservatism is GOOD government.
Liberalism is ALL government control of everything.

I’ve been seeing this “first against the wall” crap from online Bolsheviks a lot lately. Pretty soon we’re going to have to start believing that they’re serious and act accordingly.
