I wouldn’t read too much into it. People work as interns for politicians they don’t like all the time. All they care about is getting it on their resume.
Not saying he doesn’t lean to the left, I don’t know that. But I won’t freak out about this alone.

I worked as an intern for a democrat senator years ago. I wasn’t a democrat then, in fact was a college student that could care less about politics. Not a dem now. I don’t think it matters. Internships are or used to be, six week summer programs.
