Michigan Senate race tied, per Trafalgar Poll, Dems scrambling to save Peters

‘Nervous’ Schumer spending big in Michigan Senate race to help Gary Peters

Chuck Schumer PAC Spending Millions to Save Gary Peters in Michigan

EXCLUSIVE: John James, the Michigan Senate GOP candidate, raised $14 million in the third quarter and is within “striking distance” of upsetting incumbent Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., according to a Tuesday campaign memo obtained by Fox News.

In a sign of the competitive race, the super PAC aligned with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is pumping $5.4 million into ad spending in Michigan this week alone to help bolster Peters, the memo authored by James’ campaign also revealed.

“Chuck Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC will spend $5.4 million in one week — this is the most money they are spending on any Democrat in the entire nation,” James’ general consultant, Stu Sandler, wrote in a confidential memo obtained by Fox News. “They are very nervous about John James, and they should be.”

Okay so its neck and neck, but then the momentum is on James's side. Add in Tillis is leadibg in North Carolina (after his opponent took to screwing lose women on his marital bed whenever his wife as out of town, and getting caught), plus Susan Collins just caught up in the polls with her Dem opponent in Maine yesterday and its looking very good for the GOP in the US senate.

All the more reason it is so difficult to believe these polls showing Trump down by double digits.

Question: How can Trump be down 10, 11, 14, 15 points BUT.....John James has a slight lead, etc. Hmm...

James will win, and if he wins, Trump certainly wins MI.

I believe had the GOP actually taken the field in the rust belt senate races in 2018, James could have won.. with it being a presidential year with Trump in the ballot, assuming the GOP doesn’t abandon him, he almost certainly should win.

I know some squishy Republican-leaning women who think a Biden presidency with a Republican Congress is a perfect outcome.

As a Michigan FReeper I will take that part of a percentage point. We have needed conservative representation for a long time.

You know, Lyndon Johnson who once won with 61.1 %- 38.5% and electroal votes of 486 to 52 over Barry Goldwater in 1964, earlier had the nickname “Landslide Lyndon.” He had won his first seat by 87 votes in a runoff.

Go James.

I am not bothered about them polls with Slow Joe leading by what, 16 points?
Suppression polls. Plus they want to be able to claim Biden was comfortably ahead in the polls so they can use that to justify the riots and insurrection when Biden loses.
Lets just says November will be a very exciting month, to put it mildly. Stock up on everything and get ready to rumble.

Time for a BLACK CONSERVATIVE Senator in Michigan.

Money should be pouring in for this race. If we flip Alabama and Michigan and hold NC there is NO WAY Republicans don’t hold the Senate.

Ernst is doing well, Graham will win S.C. and Collins is making a comeback.

McSally and Gardener are in jeopardy.

REPUBLICANS MUST HOLD THE SENATE.

If Republicans hold the Senate, Trump will also win.

I’d love to win the Senate race in Minnesota and for McSally to defeat the gun grabber/Chinese sock puppet Mark Kelly in Arizona but this would be a very nice win in Michigan.

Because people in San Fagsiko, Los Angelse, Seattle, Portland, NEW York and Boston REALLY, REALLY hate Trump.

Where do you think the pollsters mostly poll?

Big, if true.

John James ran a somewhat lackluster campaign 2 years ago - but has upped his game.

He will be a HUGE improvement over the incumbent dem/commie.

Must win!

He should be leading by a lot more than that. When I moved out of Michigan 37 years ago I thought I’d never look back. This is the first time since then that I wish I was still a Michigan resident... so I could vote for John James.

2018 was the dry run for 2020. Because of 2018 he has as much name recognition as his opponent, who is the incumbent.

He raised $14 million in the third quarter alone. That is stunning for a Republican challenger who is not an incumbent. I doubt if many GOP incumbents even raised that much in Q3.

Leading by 1/10 of a point.
Now THAT’S close.
