Yesterday, Candace Owens shared a crazy story about her inability to get medical treatment for her asthma attack. Why? Well, because of Covid. Thats why. Isnt that the reason for everything insane in 2020?
Owens explained in her video post that she is a severe asthmatic. When she was eight years old, she had a severe asthma attack and a collapsed lung. Owens, who is seven months pregnant, shared that her asthma and allergies have worsened during pregnancy.
She was having trouble breathing and her inhaler was not helping her so she decided to in and see a doctor at an asthma and allergies clinic. The doctor determined she was in the midst of a severe asthma attack. Thankfully, he had a nebulizer treatment machine right in the room, you know, since they are an asthma clinic. He told her he would give her a nebulizer treatment.
The doctor left the room, but upon his return, he advised Owens that due to Covid-19 restrictions, he could not administer the treatment! He said she had to go to the hospital and get the treatment in a special, pressurized room. Owens refused and told the doctor to just call her in a prednisone prescription. The doctor left the room and thats when it got really bizarre. Owens next sees four paramedics who have arrived to whisk her away to the hospital!
Is this INSANE or what? The medicine was RIGHT THERE. At some point, doctors are at fault for not standing up against these insane restrictions that are harming patients. This doctor, in particular, was too scared to do the right thing, but worried enough about himself and his liability, to not just let Owens walk out. This doc really needed to man up.
After much arguing, the paramedics agreed to give a nebulizer treatment in the ambulance, only to find out that was also against Covid-19 restrictions. Owens rightly pointed out the irony of the fact that they were trying to send her to a hospital at a time when we are allegedly so worried about hospital capacity.
Owens FINALLY got her treatment from the paramedics in her own vehicle.
It should not be this way, people. We have seriously lost our minds as a country. We have lost ALL perspective.
Candace Owen :: COVID-19 could have killed me today. Doctors are now actively refusing to treat patients due to government mandates.
The lockdowns are killing the economy.
Ironically, jails are refusing to lock up criminals also due to COVID.
Jeez, if Congress would do something to protect docs, biz both large and small from WuFlu suits...
I spent 25 years taking rides to the hospital in the back of rescue units and ambulances assisting sick people. Doctors offices routinely call 911 for anyone with priority symptoms meaning difficulty breathing or chest pain. We even got calls to “transport” patients from one part of a hospital to another part. We would show up and wheel them from the doctors office at the hospital to the emergency room... it was unbelievable but protocol at two of the hospitals in our city.
We administered albuterol and other meds routinely in the back of the rigs. We typically used an oxygen tank and the appropriate disposable mask. Of course a “nebulizer machine” is cheaper than an Oxygen tank and regulator. They are literally about $50 on Amazon.
Proud to say that my daughter`s band performed before 400 non-pansies last night in an undisclosed location!
I thought she overreacted about it.
She could have gone to a drug store and picked up a nebulizer. She even talked about going to pick up meds at a nearby CVS.
I’m also surprised that she doesn’t have a nebulizer at home if she has bad asthma.
Since we have asthma, I’ve been keeping up on it.
Nebulizers spray Covid around the room. I’ve thought if we get it at home, that whoever is using the nebulizer should use it in the car.
I usually like Candace, but thought she was off on this rant.
Which government mandates? City, County, state or Fausci’s or the UN’s?
Is there one great trick or life hack for health care that will make my jaw drop?!
Were the restrictions due to state government restrictions or federal?
UKs NIH just published figures that for April-May, all urgent cancer diagnosis were down 57%. As part of that urgent breast cancer diagnosis were down 30%.
Those numbers have declined by about half in September, but such diagnosis are still much lower than 2019.
Cancer has not gone away. Due to Covid lockdowns and paranoia, cancer deaths will skyrocket in 2021 and 2022.
Lab Coat Tyranny: California is using public health as a rationale to push progressive political goals.

Public health authorities in California have unveiled a Blueprint for a Safer Economy that requires counties to meet new health equity metrics in order to emerge from the current Covid-19 lockdowns. Its a broad experiment in social justice.
Under the plan, counties must reduce disparities in levels of transmission in low-income, Black, Latino, [and] Pacific Islander communities before they can move forward with reopening. In effect, local businesses must remain closed until local bureaucrats are satisfied that ill-defined racial quotas have been met.
The underlying assumption of the blueprint is that race-based coronavirus disparities are the result of systemic racism, despite zero evidence that the states coronavirus policies have been discriminatory.
The plan ignores potential differences in culture, behavior, and underlying health, resting instead on the premise that racism is the driving force behind every disparate outcome.
The blueprint also subverts the democratic process. Unelected public health officials are restricting essential freedoms, including mobility, worship, and economic activity, without deliberation by the state legislature or the possibility of review or appeal.
Unfortunately, the California blueprint is just part of a broader pattern of state governments using public health as a rationale for seizing power. Throughout the pandemic, blue-state politicians have appealed to science as justification for long-term economic lockdowns, mask mandates, and other emergency measures, regardless of whether these policies have been sanctioned by state legislatures or voters. Science becomes the highest authority; citizens must obey.

The Swamp wants people to die so they can blame it on COVID.

“Despite smoking being on the decline it is still directly attributable for approximately 500,000 deaths per year in this country”
When I see the way they’ve been lying about covid deaths, it makes me wonder about tobacco death numbers, too.
I mean, the “second-hand smoke” science is totally fraudulent, so why wouldn’t they lie about tobacco deaths, too?
We have GOT to re-elect President Trump and we have GOT to pack the Senate ( more ) and the House.
AMERICA'S LIFE DEPENDS ON A CONSERVATIVE TSUNAMI IN THREE WEEKS ! !
“We had a friend living in England. He had a problem with his heart that woud have been fixed here the next day, but he was put on a waiting list.”
Back around 2000, the only treatment for Hep C that the Japanese health system would allow was the one that didn’t work.
How much of this is “pregnant woman with problems, escalate to avoid lawsuit”?
The bureaucrats will be our downfall. They even scared Mao.
At least Mao had the good sense to put them up against a wall and shoot them.
In my country club, one must replace their face napkin between sips if standing at the bar. One can remove their face napkin if seated at the bar.
Also, at my country club, one can remove their face napkin if seated at the table but must replace it when wait staff approaches the table.
(note we’ve not been back since these restrictions were added.)
At my gym, one must wear a face napkin to enter. After walking 10 feet, one has entered the ‘active exercising area’ and can remove the face napkin. When asked what this accomplished the gym manager stated that it was a ‘legal requirement’.
California has added a requirement to replace the face napkin between bites.
California has also added ‘equity’ requirements to reopening criteria. If the county has a dis-proportional infection minority rate, then the county cannot move to less restrictive requirements.
I mean, the second-hand smoke science is totally fraudulent, so why wouldnt they lie about tobacco deaths, too?
I understand your reluctance to believe anything that government agencies tell you, but “second hand smoke” science is definately not “totally fraudulant”. My grandmother died from lung cancer. After her diagnosis she was questioning why she had lung cancer because she never smoked. But despite being a firefighter I couldn’t stand being in her house for years because another member of the household had it constantly filled with smoke. How anyone could try to deny that living in that type of atmosphere would have detrimental effects on anyone especially old folks is beyond me. You woud have to be in a very deep state of denial.
That does not surprise me at all.
