With less than three weeks to go until Election Day, Democrat Joe Biden holds a five point-lead over President Trump in Rasmussen Reports’ weekly White House Watch survey. But a week ago, Biden had a 12-point advantage, his biggest lead ever.

If you follow the polls. the poll I am watching is the 30,000+ that come to see Trump and the 0 to 8 people who come to see Joe.

LOL, time to bring the polls back to reality in another week or so.
Today’s Rasmussen job approval has him at 47% which, by historical standards, is pretty good.
The trite and predictable “tightening of the race...too close to call...”
I wonder if the improvement is in spite of their recently messed-up internals, or because they’re correcting them.
I saw an analysis of the Rasmussen poll showing Biden up by 14. In that poll, he estimated Trump was going to get only 76 percent of the Republican vote. I thought that was pretty insane since Trump got 94 percent of the Republican vote during the primaries and has record in-party approval.
National polls don’t matter.

I have YET to see a poll from Rasmussen showing Trump leading in this election...
What the pollsters forget is that it’s not just a vote against someone, its a vote for someone, Who is going to be strongly motivated to go out an vote *for* Biden?

Yep. They can accept having egg on their face just like they did in 2016, but they can’t have 20% inaccuracy levels of egg.
The whole point of slanting the polls is to influence the election. If democrats knew Trump was leading they would stay home, and these cryto-activist pollsters know it.
The Senate seat is his to lose.
No kidding. Is that really the case? Gonna have to look at the numbers, but who goes from a 12 pt lead to half a point in such short time?

If Rasmussen is accurate then hopefully this shows the damage done by the first debate and the Covid episode has receded some.
Now if there is a second debate President Trump needs to make two adjustments:
1. Don’t interrupt Biden. Even if Biden interrupts first and a Wallace-like hack moderator lets him get away with, Trump should respond in kind sparingly. Instead let Biden speak. The more he does the greater the chance he’ll go off into a bizarre incoherent and rambling bit of nonsense.
2. Be better prepared to counter attacks that everyone knew would be leveled. Like the “very fine people” Charlottesville hoax. I still can’t believe President Trump didn’t unload on Biden and Wallace for that one. It was stunning really. I couldn’t believe he didn’t have what he actually said that day memorized and ready to recite, and that he didn’t ask viewers to watch the unedited video or read the unedited transcript. Then top it off by accusing Biden of being the one spreading racial division by constantly repeating such a vile lie.
