What percentage of gay people are monogamous and married?
Start with 2% of the general population, then less than 50% of that, then an even smaller subset.
And when you factor transvestites and transexuals in there, even smaller.
How did less than 1/2 of one percent come to dictate the norms of this society?

Some out of state lesbians sought a divorce in Texas (before SSM became the judicially decreed law of the land).
They were informed by the state that their marriage was not recognize and that they were free to dissolve their relationship if they wanted.
They found a friendly judge to advance their agenda (getting the state to recognize same sex marriage via a backdoor).
So much for it being about “true love”. They wanted OUT of “marriage”.
To realize how despised the Democrat leadership is, they brought up the issue of impeachment (each on different “reasons”) before impeaching his this January.
And Nanzi Pelosi has again brought up impeachment over Covid now.
So if Trump “did so much wrong that he has to be removed from office”, how is he doing so well that he’s at least neck and neck with the other guy?

Explain California Democrats dropping age of consent restrictions between 24 year old adult men sexual propositioning 14 year old boys.
Explain the founder of NOW Kate Millet advocating for sex between adult women and minor girls.
Explain the founders of the gay rights movement being tied to NAMBLA (including Allen Ginsberg) and other man-boy love advocacy groups.
Explain the German Left schools of the 1960s and 1970s pushing for sex in the classrooms and “no limits” between the activities of school children and teachers.
The pollsters could run this into the ground if they wanted to rat hole everything.
The 40 percent who self-identified as "conservative" are not actual conservatives, no matter how much they THINK they are.
Their moral standards are decided based on what the popular culture of society is at the time. If society overwhelmingly approved of and legalized bestiality, those "conservatives" would, too.

You could see it happening as the various states passed their marriage amendments over the years. If I recall, there were almost 10 years between CA passing prop 8 and NC passing their amendment. They both passed in the low 50% ranges, but ten years or so apart. No one would have predicted that NC would end up basically in the same place as CA was on ‘gay marriage’. That is the actual shift in votes too, not opinion polling. Pretty darn amazing.

About 10 years ago, I was walking in downtown Minneapolis. During the summer, self-righteous college students with nothing better to do walk around with clipboards. They’re mostly from liberal groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center.
One day a woman stopped me and and asked me to sign a petition supporting human rights. She said she was with the Human Rights Campaign.
I looked back and her and firmly but politely said “What two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home is their own business but that doesn’t mean that I have to like it or agree with it”.
She got this really surprised look on her face and then I resumed walking w/o saying anything else.

I do not think there are per say any normal sex behavior. However, making it legal resulted directly in laws against discriminating sexual psychotics dressing themselves as homos from babysitting my children. Just like I should be able to discriminate drug, alcohol or tobacco users, so should I people I deem risky in terms of sexual or emotional addictions

Gay marriage is for banana republics, certifying people with some kind of official medal for self destructiveness is the bane.
Had the poll reflected the language that way... such the like as: “should we give rewards, marriage certificates with poop so as to encourage people to eat poop? “
Would people support that kind of reversion?
