That's exactly how I read it too, but after re-reading it a few times I think it's saying the opposite. Her opponent threw in the towel.

Yep. She really had me pretty PO’d on that SCOTUS judge call. I’m originally from there and still spend the summers there. In her defense, a lot of people have no idea what Susan Collins is up against in that state, but she does handle herself quite well with it. I’m sure it isn’t easy to do.
FWIW, Sarah Gideon is a rabid lib moron deluxe. I’d much rather have Collins in that seat than a RAT lib any day.

It's long past time to give Michigan an enema, and I hope they finally do it this election cycle while they're bickering over the results in that state.
Remember, four years ago, the RATS were demanding a recount in Michigan, which I was totally in FAVOR of. They had to stop the recount once they discovered the "perplexing" problem of their being more BALLOTS cast in Detroit than there were VOTERS in those precincts. Yeah, totally mystery how that happened. Simple human error, I'm sure...

I be more impressed if she would stand behind Trump and call out the voter fraud for what it is.
