So having voted for a Senate candidate in your home state you can also drive into Georgia and vote again for another Senator? Who allows this stuff to happen?

Hmm, So Yang calls on millions of voters to fraudulently say the “live” in GA in order to win an election? Given the region, I’d say that the amount of R - votes coming from the surrounding states would overwhelm any stupid idea like that. But, the people of Georgia should be making this choice, not outsiders.

The GA Legislature needs to act now to get rid of mail in ballots.

The Republican Governor can call the Republican Legislature and Senate back in session. They could revise the residency law and the governor could sign it well before Jan. 5th runoffs.

Anybody here from Georgia? I’d like to rent your spare bedroom. I’ll be quiet as a churchmouse, won’t leave a mess, and will only stay one day.

There’s also unemployment compensation (you have to be ready to work), notice to previous employer, unemployment tax withholding, public employee status, credit/debit card usage, electric company service, car tags and license changeover.

The republican controlled house and senate put this in a few years back. If the outcome goes against Perdue and Loefler the republicans did it

If you claim residency then you are obligated to file income tax in Georgia.

A bigger problem is that renewed federal relief will be an election issue.

I feel like it should be illegal to vote for a senator in one state, and then vote for another one in another state.

On the other hand, I would definitely do a commercial about millionaire californians moving to Georgia for 3 weeks just to steal the vote from Georgians.

The state law requires that you be a valid voter for the general election to compete in the runoff.

However, a federal law passed in 1994 requires registration to be open up until 30 days before “an election”.

And a lawsuit was “settled”, with the consent decree waiving the legal requirement, and allowing registration up until december 5th.

How about the GOP legislature and governor pass some legislation to prevent this. Only LEGAL RESIDENTS as of NOV 3 - and must present proof along with photo ID to vote?

So the Dems. Soros, China and every foreign and domestic funder could send millions of Democrats to Georgia to vote in the run off? Republicans could do the same, but they are not nearly as mobile and don’t have a permanent brown shirt cadre like BLM and Antifa. This development doesn’t sound good at all.

Does anyone live in Georgia? Please write to the governor. I get texts every hour asking for donation for senators in GA. What's the money gonna do?
