I honestly think the last network show I would watch regularly was Married With Children.

SVU has been unwatchable for years.

I watched about 15 minutes of it last night. Not only was the plot stupid, whoever wrote it should have their credentials revoked.

The plot of stupid. The scenes forced. And the dialog was written by someone who had never even been in the room with a cop.

I was expecting drivel. But I was not expecting drivel this poorly produced.

I watched about two minutes of NCIS New Orleans last week. Every scene in the literal two minutes featured mask lectures.

I haven’t watched a network show in years. The only times I watch the network stations are if a Bama game is on or if tornadoes or other bad weather are expected in our area.

Recently, I did take advantage of the free trial of the CBS All-Access App, mainly because it shows Premier League Football matches.

I was also curious to watch the modern reboot of “The Twilight Zone”. The Black Comedian, Jordan Peele, is the host and one of the writers.

I wasn’t expecting much, because Rod Sterling is irreplaceable, but the first few episodes were very good. Then I watched an episode with a mostly black cast. The episode started on a good note, with plenty of suspense. Then the episode slowly devolved into a Black Lives Matter propaganda show.

I haven’t watched another episode. Very disappointing.

Watch the subchannels over the air only - no need to deal with this current, no talent nonsense.

I wonder when CBS will cancel Blue Bloods. It’s the only network show I watch. I dropped all of the evening “news” shows weeks ago. I’ll watch regularly the PBS British dramas but American television with its endless parade of weirdo characters and minorities and smutty comedies—forget it.

Interesting about the new Twilight Zone.

That's sad that they had to go woke.

The original was plenty progressive, but it was so well written that you simply enjoyed the story.

One of the best was "I Am the Night-Color Me Black"

Yes, about how racism is bad, but it was much deeper.

It was about hate turning the world into utter darkness.

A lesson that applies today to people of all colors.

Your post is spot on.

The original was, as you say, progressive, but not “preachy” and extremely well written. Some episodes, such as “The Obsolete Man”, are chillingly prophetic.

My favorite episode is “Time Enough At Last”.

Chicago PD, Chicago Fire , Chicago Med all had ‘Woke’ themes.

Actually I was pleasantly surprised by the Chicago franchise. Med only wore masks when they were treating someone, same for Fire and I was shocked that PD was as tame as they were continuing on from their last season ender but rarely bland. Swat and FBI were woke long ago I deleted them long ago when they became insufferable.

The NCIS franchise could have been better but they have been playing footsies with Muslim characters for a couple seasons, have to wait for Gibb's crowd next week to see how far they jump over the shark.

Blacklist is back tonight I really hope they don't trash that one because it has been my favorite for a while however they are not immune either.

I have several thousand of older series stored on my hard drives that I can watch until Jesus comes. I don't really mind because at my age I don't remember them a week or so after I watch them anymore.

Yeah it was hard to watch, but I save all them will just have to edit it a little more than usual. LA version was not so bad except for the scarf wearing Muslim that can whip twelve men. LLJ Cool is also a Muslim in that show but it rarely comes up. Hate to see what Gibb's team is doing but truly I expected all of them to be much worse. Blacklist tonight hope they leave it watchable.
