That is correct. Biden (or rather his campaign team) ran one of the most aggressive campaigns in modern history and specifically targeted those kinds of voters - and did so completely uncontested by the Trump campaign on most media outlets. There are indeed consequences for allowing your opponent to define himself entirely uncontested and also define and frame the issues of the race uncontested. False narratives become the truth if they are not challenged with the alternate story. The doddering old man who couldn’t spit out complete sentences was not the Biden most Americans saw during this campaign.
