Former child star Ricky Schroder has called the police after receiving threatening messages on social media from people angry for his contributing to the $2 million dollar bail fund of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse.
The 'Silver Spoons' and 'NYPD Blue' actor on Sunday tweeted a photo of himself carrying a rifle.
The social media post included the caption: 'To my Democrat Friends. This is the country want to live in? #f***antifa'.

The Daily Mail commies called him a "former child star" to demean him. He has done a lot as an adult.
One movie I recall, don't recall the name, about WWI was very good. Something in that movie I noted was a soldier complaining about the press in the U.S. lying about the war.
More recently than that he produced a documentary about soldiers in Afghanistan and he personally went there and did the interviews himself. And it was good.

I think Benjamin Bratt is a real cutie; I watched “Law & Order” for years. Detective Logan, Chris Noth, was my favorite, and then he turned up in “The Rough Riders,” which was super fun.

Yep. He broke away from those "child actor" roles when he joined NYPD Blue in the early 1990's.
I forgot all about that ... and I used to watch that a lot. In fact that is where I got major respect for his acting ability as an adult. That role put to rest any notion that he was riding the coattails of his career as a child.
PS: Always loved Dennis Franz too. Wish we could put some of these lefist pols in a room alone with Detective Sipowicz. :)

Yep - lots of good cop shows back then, and NYPD Blue was one of them. When Schroder joined the cast, he went from “Ricky” to “Rick.” He was one of the few child actors who transitioned well into adult actor. So, when the media call him a “former child actor,” they are showing their bias.
