This is due to the Girl Scouts decision ten years ago to say “stay at home moms are bad role models, only have working moms as leaders”. Combine that with promoting Planned Parenthood content, and many stay at home / conservative / Christian mothers left to American Heritage Girls. These were the women with years of experience AND long-term commitments because they typically had several girls.
And they stopped doing the “fun” stuff like camping. Working moms do a craft day once in a while and the stress-relief badge at the spa.

Social justice jihadis think it is morally necessary and appropriate to infiltrate and take over all “infidel” organizations in order to “make them better”.

Yes
A third of national’s employees ARE lesbians. And they’ve openly promoted the alphabet mafia agenda for years along with Planned Parenthood.

Thanks for posting . . .I hope parents and grandparents saved the links.
the stuff like camping is what keep those over the age of 13 interested. you want kids to get leadership skills have them do real work. 50 years ago the girl scouts actualy baked the cookies that they sold and got a merit badge in the process. today they stand in front of a store and hawk over priced cookies for a corporation that actually makes more money from the deal then the girl scouts.. 4.99 for cookies that can be gotten for 2.00 dollar in the store they are standing in front of.
Now the organization pays its payroll with factory made branded cookies in ice cream.
Popcorn sales is the biggest scam. Prices are 5x normal and most of the proceeds go to the national organization not the scouts.
Please do us all a favor and learn about a subject before spouting off BS.

Before spouting off BS do us all a favor and read this link which exposes how you leftist feminazis have shamefully ruined the scouting organizations in America. Despicable!
It is baffling how so many seemingly Deplorable people, who get the importance of time-tested approaches that champion the individual, so easily and willingly surrender to the enemies of tradition and Western Civilization. Again, National has royally screwed up and has destroyed the Brand of Scouting, and many of their choices are blowing back on the movement. Competitor groups have been set up, and people have abandoned ship, understandably.
That said, BSA works at the local level where all the action exists, if you're willing to get off your gluteus Maximus. And it is easier to fix the rot in a section of a mansion than it is to build anew on ground that isn't time-tested.
Regarding girls in BSA, I have my doubts as I stated earlier. But the sight of young girls flocking to the BSA program should be a sign that we we aren't yet dead yet as a nation. To wit: your average girl who is put-off by some of the less-than-stellar elements of Girl Scouts and society wont't not joining BSA.
There may be a day when BSA isn't salvageable. But Scouting isn't BSA, just like Trumpism isn't the GOP. The essence of Scouting transcends the National office. And I agree, Eagles (and those non-Eagles who have strong Scout Spirit) will help lead the way back to greatness, even if the surrender-monkeys in concert with libs cheer against us.
krizzy challenges fortes fortuna juvat to learn about Scouting before posting as an alleged authority.
fortes fortuna juvat's response is A LINK to an article on some dude's website, that is basically a cutting and pasting of court filings.
I'm not sure where to start, and life is short, so I'll stick to this paragraph:
The competition, more conjecture than reality two years ago, has intensified as the Boy Scouts of America organization — which insists recruits pledge to be “trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous and kind” — has unfairly recruited girls lately, according to claims in legal briefs filed on behalf of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
A few points:
1. Scouts are not "recruits." Indeed, most kids join Scouts via friends bringing them to meetings or via Cubs' "crossing over" ceremonies. It is a voluntary membership organization. Indeed, this was the crux of the SCOTUS case in 2000.
2. Scouts "recite" (i.e. To list or enumerate) the Scout Law, they do not "pledge." (: a binding promise or agreement to do or forbear b(1) : a promise to join a fraternity, sorority, or secret society). Maybe this is nitpicky, but all the writer had to do was use a search engine to find that " The Scout Law has 12 points. Each is a goal for every Scout. A Scout tries to live up to the Law every day. It is not always easy to do, but a Scout always tries."
3. Again, maybe this is nitpicky, but the author only reprints a handful of the points of the Scout Law. Why not the whole lot? Did Ms. Donovan reach her word limit? We don't know. What we DO know, however, is that even in Ms Donovan's few words, she messes up twice (1) the Points of the Law should be capitalized, and (2) the use of quotation marks implies that there is something being referenced or could be footnoted...however, in the proper Scout Law there is NO "and".
This kind of slop is what I expect from Gateway Pundit and American Thinker. I guess I have a few other sources to add to my list of subpar references. Thanks for the heads-up.

We did AHG with our daughter.
In my experience, girls don’t unwittingly join BSA girls troops
They join because the program is superior in all ways
Why are the GIRL Scouts in a recruiting war with the BOY Scouts?
Oh, never mind.
F#@%ing Tards!
