The last “lockdown” by Gov Nuisance wasn’t really a lockdown and no one cared in L.A. as businesses were open. Try enforcing next time clown..

I went to the ER at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo one week ago (AFIB)...I was in the ER for about 5 hours (IV, Radiology, Blood work and finally a cardioversion which was successful).

When I entered the ER, there was 1 person in their “waiting room”. When I left, the waiting room was empty.

Additionally, I did not see any dead bodies in the hallway :).

Speaking of lockdowns, please consider the following.

Citizens not only need to work with their respective state lawmakers to amend their state constitutions to make state health official an elected, popular vote position, but also amend to make time-limited by law lockdowns called by governors, mayors and health officials automatically trigger recall elections for those positions.

Why am I extremely skeptical and doubt newsom's veracity?

If thing are as dire as he describes, he should ask President Trump to send a hospital ship, but of course, he won’t.

And then there will be a lockdown from the surge from President's Day weekend, then the Valentine's Day surge, St. Patrick's Day, etc. etc.

How many lockdowns are needed before the world sees that THEY DON'T WORK ???

That’s because it’s all propaganda and lies.

80% of my business is working in LA County hospitals and the hospitals and morgues are not overflowing with COVID patients. There is no appreciable difference between the number of hospital patients or fatalities than there were in the years between 2010 thru 2019. The only difference is that a majority of deaths are being attributed to COVID-19 regardless as to what the actual cause may be.

What’s needed to end this COVID frightmare is widespread civil disobedience combined with the refusal of law enforcement to enforce unconstitutional mandates. If cops were supposed to enforce mandates then they’d be referred to as mandate enforcement.

It’s hard to navigate the sidewalks lately for all the bodies in the way.

Let’s face it, it’s the end of the world.

Running out of ICU beds is another misleading statistic. California ranks 3rd to last in the # of hospital beds per/1,000 population-

Top 3 - South Dakota: 4.8, District of Columbia: 4.4, North Dakota: 4.3

Bottom 3 - Utah: 1.8, New Mexico: 1.8, California: 1.8, Washington: 1.7, Oregon: 1.6

Three of the leftiest states in the country are in the bottom three says something doesn’t it?

https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/rankings-and-ratings/states-ranked-by-hospital-beds-per-1-000-population.html

Of course, like housing, electricity, water and everything else in California, one reason hospitals are expensive to build is due to unending regulations in the spirit “Good intentions” one of the biggest issues is because of seismic (earthquake-related) regulations and stringent “Green” standards. Are hospitals normally built not earthquake-proof? Of course not but the state can and does always default to more, more, more strangling regulations.
Another reason for fewer beds is that inpatient hospital stays have been greatly reduced in favor out-patient and at home treatment.

I’m not a Covid denier, my 73 yr old (very high risk) cousin was in the ICU in Reno on a ventilator and died after 8 days. My sister, who’s a PA in Anchorage, tested positive with no symptons and didn’t receive her results for 1 1/2 weeks. How is that a metric for anything? She is a huge worshipper of Fauci. My point is the pandemic porn statistics are very mis-leading and thus they are essentially meaningless.

Intensive care units in Southern California and the San Joaquin Valley have no capacity remaining.

This may have a kernel of truth to it. What group of people use the ER as their Primary Care Physician? What group of people are over-represented as a demographic in SoCal and San Joaquin Valley?

You have to consider all the factors, and of course, the news report will fail to mention this.
