Roy Fox hasn’t paid rent for his New York City apartment in more than 30 years. But he’s not sweating an eviction.
In a city of 8.4 million people, Fox, 81, is one of just 23 lucky New Yorkers who reside in one of the city’s publicly owned historic sites spread across the five boroughs.

This story will probably result in the site being burned down by BLM/Antifa thugs.
By next week it will be over run with all colors and ages of activists screaming to get in and live there....That gate won’t hold them back...He’s gonna be sorry he ever did the interview....

Sounds like heaven to me.
Exactly!
Fascinating story, but....I don’t think NY Post did this guy any favors by ratting him out, I mean, telling his amazing luck story.
And....he has full access to the 22K s.f. mans.
Not a bad way to survive in that jungle, is it?
I pray the hounds of BLM aren’t now unleashed on this guy.
Can't say I care if BLM or Antifa rains on his parade...
I worked down the street from him. He’ s across the street from a large police presence.

If any of you remember the talk radio inspired Tea Bag Revolution, he’s the guy that started it.
Congress voted a midnight pay raise. A caller to WXYT in Detroit suggested we inundate DC with mailed tea bags. He ran with it and millions of tea bags were sent to DC. They Congress slugs backed off...for a while.
The most depressing one: "A Stop at Willoughby". Probably because I commute out of the Westport, CT station and that one hit home.
Read the article, it’s a good one.

Reads like some Dickensian character. The lone caretaker of a 22,000 sq ft mansion.
They have to get a Trump dig in the story. Just have to.
Those mansions are very expensive to upkeep.
If he did good job keeping it up, he deserved free living.
As a matter of fact, this is quite common arrangement all over America. THe custodian gets to live free in the manor.
I knew a couple with similar arrangement in Indiana. They actually had only like two rooms for themselves. The rest was museum. They could use the rest of the huge mansion a little bit when the museum was closed, provided they have not changed anything.
They actually moved out quite soon, it was not great deal.

Interviewed to get the exact results they hope for, twist the take and flag it for attack.
They have identified 23 mansions like this..How long before antifa and blm take them over???
