The Trump-appointed NSA general counsel installed the day before Biden took office is now on leave due to a Department of Defense probe

The Trump-installed General Counsel of the National Security Agency has been put on administrative leave a day after starting the role, due to a Department of Defense inspector general probe, CNN reported. Michael Ellis's installation just before President Joe Biden took office garnered criticism...

...Ellis's appointment came shortly after President-elect Joe Biden was projected to win the 2020 election in November. During that same month, the Washington Post reported that Democratic Sens. Mark Warner and Jack Reed asked the Pentagon's inspector general to investigate Ellis's appointment on the grounds of "improper political influence."

"...press accounts of White House involvement create a perception that political influence or considerations may have played an undue role in a merit-based civil service selection process," Warner and Reed wrote in a letter in November, CNN reported.

I am sure proper consideration of their merit based assignments are well in order for the new black, active duty DoD Secretary as well as the faggotty, freak, tranny appointment of the PA health minister to it’s new cabinet post.

They can drag this out for an entire year.

If you looked for corrective actions/lessons learned from 2016 and the whole monitor Trump game....it leads back to the NSA. Whole management within it will probably change by 2024.

merit-based ? As if that was ever a concern in a Dem admin>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I am reminded of Sec. Stae Madeline Albright who was appointed not for her dimplomatic acumen, which was dull and frivolous, but appointed because she was a woman. Maddy went all over the world and had established diplomatic ties with liberal nations but in places like Saudi Arabia, she was a laughing stock.

The predilection for liberals to go against the customary mores of a nation by using gender identity politics results in what I call “zerp function.”

The imagery of Albright sitting in the middle of robe clad Saudi Royals, looking like a hen in a fox house, still haunts America. Liberal identity politics rendered powerless in the face of a masculo-centric culture, and which clearly constitutes a non accepting form of neo-colonial imposition on a foreign culture.

The customary Arab hospitality was in place, but there was zero communication on issues of importance. And Albright had the temerity NOT to appoint even a special envoy who was a man, so that things could get done. Albright was like a mouse with an erection floating down the river on a shingle , yelling “raise the drawbridge!” All of the Muslim nations thought America weak and acted accordingly.

So now the dysfunction will continue. Divisive identity politics “de rigeur,” with function reduced to Zero.

Another thing that Trump has done right all his life. If you can’t cut the mustard or I don’t like you for any reason, You’re Fired! No excuses made. Just leave. Criticize my justifiable actions all you want but why give arbitrary ammo to your opponent s. It just shows their vindictiveness.

Yet only ten Republican senators could be found to oppose the nomination of Avril Haines to be President Biden's director of national intelligence (DNI) on the first day of America's real decline.

Sen Mark Warner used a Spy App to communicate secretly with Russia, asking them to assist with info damaging to Trump. and telling them their communiques could never be known.

Isn’t that the Definition of Insurrection?

Oh, the Republicans protected Warner and hid his secrets for months.

The NSA's general counsel position is not a political one but a civil servant role, which means it will be harder for the incoming Biden administration to fire him. However, the new president can easily reassign him to a less important job.

Might as well resign now because even if he survives the investigation he's going to be reassigned as Deputy Director for Mops and Buckets by the end of the month.

Merit? Well,OK. In regards to Heels Up’s merit I've read that she was pretty good in the sack. She certainly put a smile on Willie Brown's face!

This is how Dems operate. In the shadows with top cover from the media. Anybody expecting them to follow through on their high profile GOTV issues like court packing will be sadly disappointed.

IIRC, he was appointed in November, but his actually taking the position was being slow-walked until the order to install him.

Albright was like a mouse with an erection floating down the river on a shingle , yelling “raise the drawbridge!”>>>>>>>>>>

This simile or expression is a creation of Atlantic Canada humor, and there are many, but I know only a few.

A male mouse , overcome with passion at the sight and smell, was completing what he was an act of fornication at the opening of a female elephants reproductive tract. He was busily thrusting away , industriously, without the elephant feeling anything, when , as it happened, a hunter shot t he elphant right through its head. The elephant responded with a dying grunt.

The mouse, unperturbed and still completing his sordid ,presumptuous act, yelled: Suffer, baby suffer!

I do not know why there are these kinds of jokes in Atlantic Canada, a fixation with the juxtaposition of the gigantic and the small.A humor of scale.

Anyone who thinks highly of their manliness and boasts of it in Atlantic Canada , risks being called “Needle-dink the bug f**ker.”
