All the more reason for those of us in IT who design cloud architectures to [per AWS design practice] “design for failure” and have two cloud providers in any cloud solution.
Further, contract language needs to be very clear requiring X days of notification before termination with X being 60 days or longer.
Also, contracts need to be very clear on the data ownership and how the client gets their data back from the cloud provider in these events.
