A federal judge on Tuesday barred the U.S. government from enforcing a 100-day deportation moratorium that is a key immigration priority of President Joe Biden.
U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton issued a temporary restraining order sought by Texas, which sued on Friday against a Department of Homeland Security memo that instructed immigration agencies to pause most deportations. Tipton said the Biden administration had failed “to provide any concrete, reasonable justification for a 100-day pause on deportations.”
Tipton’s order is an early blow to the Biden administration, which has proposed far-reaching changes sought by immigration advocates, including a plan to legalize an estimated 11 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally. Biden promised during his campaign to pause most deportations for 100 days.

Don’t need all of them...The Dems used the AHole in Hawaii and the the 9th to stop Trump, we can do the same with several well placed Judges.

My estimate of the real number was closer to 30 million and that was about 12 years ago, so by now, it’s anyone’s guess.
True. I heard more than one interview estimating the new arrivals. Adding some 2017 onward monthly new arrivals can't possibly still add up to the cliched old 11 million. Unless some said "I'm so sick of entitlements, my Section 8 house, Medicare and my other free stuff. I'm tired of America. I'm heading back to El Salvador."

Oops, so sorry you tripped over that injunction on the way to releasing all illegals, including criminal illegals, on the people of the United States. The left will now see how committed the right can be to LawFare.
While I agree that this order needs to be stopped, I believe the Judge is presenting an incorrect logic. The executive branch is taske with upholding and supporting the laws of this nation. If the current laws say that illegal immigrants are to be held, then the President has the duty and obligation to execute those laws. An executive order does not override, change or in anyway alter the laws of this nation.
Don't hold your breath when/if it gets to SCOTUS!
