They want Tubman on a bill? Give her one of her own. Don’t take Jackson’s.
I’m in favor of replacing the slave-abusing Jackson who founded the Democrat party with Tubman, a radical, gun-toting, deeply religious, Republican insurgent.
Three dollar bill.
Tubman was a republican.
Abe was a republican.
The republican party founded in Ripon by abolinisits.
Anything else about the hearts and minds of republicans is pure rhetoric. Most conservatives today just want the media to stop stiring the race pot and start covering the socail stratification based on wealth, highlight liberals reintroduction of classism and why progresssive city centers have been in death throws for the past half centry.
Nice! Thanks for posting.
tru dat
That’s actually a great idea. Let’s get Tubman on a $25 bill. Four bills would make an even one hundred. Five Jacksons or four Tubmans. I like it.
This would truly "trigger" leftists.
> The column declared, “Many conservatives will find the new Tubman bill distressing...”<
Subliminally maintaining the fiction that conservatives are incredibly racist...
I am certainly aware of Rt 15 in PA. I WENT TO Gettysburg College.
But my mother was born in Virginia and we traveled to her home place off Rt 11, the valley pike, the Le Jackson highway. It is western Virginia but NOT West Virginia. Just more CNN fake news.
That’s it. That’s the image we need to use.
Isn’t that the one for the Obamas?
First with bill “two faces”!
Salena Zito gets a lot right.
I am on the right edge of Conservative. Could care less if they put Mickey Mouse on a $20 Bill as I am only worried what the purchasing power of that $20 is and how diluted it will become under Senile Joe.
“Tubman, a radical, gun-toting, deeply religious, Republican insurgent.”
This.
US 11 certainly goes through a section of West Virginia’s eastern panhandle, including Martinsburg.
Fly over the states or use an interstate and you are likely to never know who the people who live along U.S. 11 are and what they care about. That's okay. People really don't like feeling like a specimen, but if you are going to write about them, you should probably have a conversation or two."
As wretchedly insipid as any WaPo 'diner story', Zito thinks she's being clever punching down as the #MSM does to to the hicks in the stix but she's really just another journolist, ignoring that these are not places of decay but rather efficient small towns that permit people to live rurally.
Under that idiot it will probably only worth a dollar if that much.
There's a reason why DJT had Jackson's portrait prominently displayed in the oval office. That reason is why Andrew Jackson would want his picture taken off the $20 bill. He hated the central bank and ended it.
