Susan Sarandon says President Biden and the Democrats are pulling a 'bait and switch' by promising $2,000 stimulus checks then sending out $1,400 to Americans.
'Where are the $2K checks you promised? At a time when only 39% of Americans could afford a $1,000 emergency & over 15 million have lost employer-sponsored health insurance, the diff between $1,400 & $2K is a matter of survival,' she tweeted.
Biden's administration initially promised $2,000 per check to Americans.
In December, $600 checks went out under the final stimulus from Trump.

At least one pundit said the victory in Georgia for two senate seats was made possible by the voters responding to Biden’s outright promise of a guarantee of the $2,000 check to each person.
Some voter using an old address to vote a first and second time by mail-in and then once more in line at the live voting booth place for the 3rd time, will say “where is my government money?”
Well, you notice she’s not offering her own money for this, so yeah, still a total lefty.
Once again, as with every stimulus and bailout for years, there is no delegated power for the money to even be spent.

Well, if you get $1400 when biden “promised” $2000, you won’t feel bribed by biden!

My (potential) $1,400 check is going right back to the gubmint. Because I pay taxes every year, rather than letting the gubmint get an interest-free loan off of me in the form of a “refund.”
