In a fawning interview with billionaire Bill Gates aired on Wednesday’s 3rd Hour Today show, co-host Al Roker hailed the Microsoft founder for launching a climate change crusade to “help save the planet.” A prominent left-wing climate activist in his own right, Roker was particularly concerned about “deniers” spreading “misinformation” and wondered if “big tech” could be used to silence them.
“Bill Gates is talking about saving the planet. Being emissions free in 30 years,” Roker heralded at the top of the segment. Turning to Gates, Roker fretted: “Plain and simple, if we don’t act now, what’s at stake here?” The How to Avoid a Climate Disaster author made sure to promote his new book by engaging in doomsday fearmongering:
The south of the United States will no longer be used for, you know, farming. It’ll have days that you can’t go outdoors. The sea level rise, the die off of the natural ecosystems. It gets quite extreme. So it’s almost apocalyptic, but that’s what’s at stake if you don’t start investing now in stopping the emissions.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

When it comes to weather forecasting, to me, Roker is a joker. Just a talking head for the weather script writer.

How can American, Freedom Loving Patriots, shut down the Climate Fraud propagandists, attempting to control and destroy America, her Constitution, and her Freedoms?
“Mr. Gates, isn’t there something we can do to silence these climate deniers? How about shooting them?”
“Well, Al, I prefer not to show our hand at this time. Some might see it as, uh, undiplomatic. But we are working on a solution, a final one.”
The “global warming / climate change” hysteria started, as we know it now, around 2000. Terrified advocates lamented what would happen in next 100 years.
We’re 20% thru this century. By now, there should be meaningful evidence. Not just hints or random odd events, but real plain objective change. Some city should be suffering real flooding. Desert vs farmland delineation should have moved by miles. Etc.
Nothing has changed beyond normal environmental drift.

I liked Roker better when he was fat.
They fabricate evidence as needed, and transform events into larger problems - that is exactly what they will do with these low temperatures across the south. They did it with Katrina, though it mostly damaged areas below sea level that the French avoided settling for that very reason.
