Flautist, not flutist.
This should be a good time to be an attorney practicing in defense of free speech.
I like the way she thinks.
That’s something she could have put on her own personal blog. If posting on the account owned by the symphony, it’s best to stick with matters directly related to the symphony.
I agree with most of her stated views, but that was not the correct forum to talk about personal views on controversial topics.
***************
Her outspoken comments are music to my ears.
Publicly naming and attempting to shame a fellow member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is ‘juvenile at best’.....THEY should be ashamed of such childish behavior!
.....Skala said she does not accept resident biden as the authentic winner of November’s election......
She’s RIGHT on that one!!!! The others—not so much!
But the orchestra has NO RIGHT to cancel her—or her Constitutional right to freedom of speech!!!!
Combined General and Maryland “Freak State” PING!
You can take the O out if BSO but not the BS.
Not totally not guilty, but close enough.
And Gap Toothed Fat Albert is still complaining the erection (HT Chuck Schumer) was stolen from her in Georgia.
I love it when artsy types are brave and independent enough to move past the peer pressure and mindless groupthink of the leftists around them. The left hates free speech.
Where’s Ian Anderson now that we need him?
Cancel her for thinking and speaking for herself?
Heck with that. Just for that, I bought her CD and sent her a thank you note and told her there are MILLIONS out here who support her rights.
Her CD is here:

Now they have fired her: https://nypost.com/2021/08/04/baltimore-orchestra-fires-member-who-spread-conspiracy-theories/?utm_campaign=coronavirus&utm_source=sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_content=20210804&utm_term=NYP%20-%20Coronavirus%20Daily%20Update
“Conspiracy theories”...maybe if we got a straight answer for once that actually made some sense we wouldn’t have to come to our own conclusions.
