1,000(+) 'woke' companies unite against election-integrity laws!

The opposition of major corporations such as Coca-Cola and Delta to a Georgia election law has drawn attention to an alliance of more than 1,000 companies that, in effect, have identified themselves as opponents of voting integrity.

The Civic Alliance boasts on its website that its membership has grown to 1,119 companies that employee more than 5 million people.

"As a coalition of businesses, we use our voice, our brand, and our reach to strengthen our democracy. We support safe, accessible, and trusted elections, and we inspire our employees and customers to participate in civic life," the alliance says.

However, the objective of making elections "accessible" translates to opposition to laws such as Georgia's that seek to ensure that every vote represents a legitimate voter and that voters are not disenfranchised.

WOW! Guess a lot of us need to grow and build our own stuff. Pretty insulting that so many companies agree that "bipocs*" are 2 stoopid to figure out how to obtain an ID card. And apparently in rural, and some inner city areas, 2 stoopid to figure out how, on a computer, to make an appointment to get the covid shot. Link to list in next comment.

*bipoc=black, indigenous, people of color. Thought that made a complete circle butt, guess not.

This whole thing is insane. Is there a centralized checklist of election and voting requirements and procedures anywhere? Someone should make one. Much of what I am reading, even from moderates and Democrats, is that Georgia’s rule changes are not outside the national norms at all. Yet the twitter mob moves corporate behavior so fast.

I want these companies to send me massive amounts of their products and bill me with no ID check. Just send the bill to John Doe in Woketopia, Kansas.

You should see the discussion at the office. An amazing lack of civics.

This is just like pre-Bolshevik Russia where what there was of a business community largely signed on with the Reds to screw the Russian people, figuring they would be treated well when they took over. “The capitalists will sell us the rope to hang them with”. Quote from the vicious midget tramp Vladimir Ulyanov, who called himself Lenin.

I recognize very few of those businesses and of those I do, I either never patronized them or have since ceased.

It should be easy to make COKE the target of a conservative boycott.

I haven’t looked at the list of companies, but I am just guessing that about 99.9% of those companies require a photo I.D. badge to enter their corporate offices.

These companies should band together and assist all people to get an appropriate ID so they can vote. But this suggestion will not be followed.

They should leave every state that has secure elections. They will be replaced.

“I recognize very few of those businesses and of those I do, I either never patronized them or have since ceased.”

There are some big ones: HP, Intel, Levis. I didn’t look closely at the list.

The Left has another ace up their sleeve. The ESG Evaluation. Companies are scored on their stances on Leftist values. Tow the line, get a good score. Don’t play along, get docked. Bad scores means your business is penalized on many levels.

Strengthen our democracy?

Quite the opposite.

They are railing against laws passed by the democratically elected representatives of the people.

Thanks, I saved the link under the name Boycott List.

There’s only a couple that’ll take some effort to pull away from. But, I’ll try.

Just closed my Etsy account, with a bit of regret. Didn’t have the satisfaction of telling them why - they didn’t ask.

Amazon’s on my hit list, but extricating from them is a bit more complicated.

I see Kind bars are on the list. That saddens me but Marxism saddens me more.

Have a few resumes out through LinkedIn but plan on closing that in a few weeks. Damn, they’re like bedbugs, these leftists.
