For those of us that lived around the nutcase Koresh, his abuse of children was why everyone knew he burned the compound and not the FBI.
Koresh was as sick as they come and his "followers" were either terrified of him or complicit in his sick abuse.

I watched that from my barracks in Japan. I had served 5 years in the Marines at that point and it was the only time I felt, “WTF am I serving/fighting for if the government can do this...”
