The black man shot dead during a police raid on his North Carolina home was a known drug dealer — with a 30-year rap sheet stretching more than 180 pages, according to records.
Andrew Brown Jr. — who was shot dead last Wednesday in a car outside his Elizabeth City home — had the lengthy rap sheet dating back to May 1988, according to a search warrant and other records obtained by Fox News.

Had Andree Brown been “white” the police actions likely would have been the same. But it would not have been a “BLM moment”. It was never about Brown’s “race”. It was always about his activities.

The search warrant was requested after a confidential informant claimed he’d been buying drugs from Brown for more than a year, the documents stated.
The informant then made a “controlled purchase” of cocaine and later Meth that were captured on camera, the warrant said.
The search warrant was then signed off by North Carolina Superior Court Senior Resident Judge Jerry Tillett on April 20 — the day before the fatal raid, Fox said.
Civil rights lawyer Ben Crump, who is representing the family, argued that authorities have released the warrant information to “assassinate” Brown’s character and deflect from what the family has called an “execution.”
Pelosi thanks Mr. Brown for sacrificing his life to give the Democrats another cause to exploit.
How many people has he killed with his drugs? How many people have been robbed or burgled, car-jacked, etc. to raise money to buy his drugs?

So we know why the police went there to arrest him. What we don’t know is why the police shot him.
They are not adept at choosing quality martyrs.
Roy Cooper’s looking to get re-elected based on this. I’m sure he’ll tear down the N.C. police for Biden’s nationalization effort and in return get some federal support.
Those crimes are no more on him than they are on the drug prohibition and the DEA. How many fewer ODs would there be if the drugs were of known purity, not coming from the criminal element, and how many fewer robberies and carjackings would there have been, if the drugs were sold at only modestly above the cost of production, i.e. in a free-market marketplace?
When did he have time to be on the Amos and Andy show?

The person shot was a criminal.
Hope there are a number of black faces among the cops who shot this criminal. Then it won’t be as much fun for BLM. They may have to do a “never mind” and wait for CNN to cue up the next
white racist cop shoots black saint fake narrative outrage. The Ma’ Khia thing didn’t work because she was caught on camera a millisecond away from killing a black girl. Nor did Adam Toledo kid work because he was a white Hispanic After a while, the novelty wears off and the media can no longer sell the public their little white racist cop kills black storyline and the media created creature BLM dies from disinterest.
I’m torn by this. Although we don’t have all information yet either. On one had, I don’t think you should get a death sentence for fleeing law enforcement. On the other hand, I can’t help wondering why it’s the lowest characters that get defended the most vigorously by the social justice groups... almost as if they want to defend criminal activity as a right.

It is because of the color of their skin and nothing else, IMO. As other people opined, if this had been a white guy shot and killed, Everybody, black, white, and tan would say good riddance to a criminal element whose rap sheet laid end to end would be half a football field long.
Sainthood.
