We just know that he died sometime after ambushing the law enforcement officers.
Clearly war on cops.
They haven’t said yet. They are being pretty hushed on details, not releasing the address or identity of the shooter or his non-LEO victims, nor how the shooter died. Maybe once notifications are done, we will know. Odds are he offed himself, as that’s how these things normally end.
It was war on his parents. The cops were killed once they entered the house.
Lots of sickos doing standoffs these days. They should start shooting themselves before their families and cops.
Deputy Dawg was murdered? Or did they just do a poor job of telling what happened?

Black people are usually a rarity in Appalachia. They were so rare, the one black kid I knew in Boone in the 1970’s dated white girls because there were no black girls his age. Nobody thought anything of it. His grandmother told him to stop when he went off to school because they weren’t as tolerant in Raleigh.

I live here and know one of the deputies killed. The assailant was white. He ambushed the deputies after killing his parents — killing the deputies and their K9. The sheriff said he was visited the past weekend and that it appears he was planning a larger slaughter.
Actually the writing skills of the articles author are incredibly bad. Reads like it was written by a 5 year old.

One of the vendors my son deals with at his job is black guy from the mountains. My son talked with him on the phone several times before they met for lunch.
Son was very surprised to meet a black guy who sounded just like every other local in the area.
Drag his body out and let everyone who wants to put some bullets in him.
Scoop him up with a shovel and bury him.
