The coronavirus pandemic continues to recede in America — as the average number of new cases and deaths plummeted to levels not seen in around a year.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Sunday that the rolling seven-day average of daily new coronavirus cases had dropped to 24,315 nationwide. The last time the average was that low was on June 15 of last year, when the CDC reported a seven-day average of 23,304 new cases.

I believe the numbers have been fabricated for a year now. i.e. there is a reason they want the numbers to be low now - so they’re low.

This virus had almost zero impact on my family and we rarely don a mask for more than a few seconds. I say “almost”, because my friends’s 94 year old father caught it as did my daughter and her husband. All three showed minor symptoms for a few days.

The lockdowns, however, had a tremendous affect on us. I save three hours a day and $750 a month by working from home. That’s after tax dollars.

So it’s sort of been a boon to us. Others have lost their jobs and businesses. It’s a bit like the great depression. Some did very well while the country suffered.

One family, out of 180 million households, that’s statistically significant?

I’m not talking statistics. I’m talking real-life.

And I don’t trust the stats anyway. They’ve been exaggerated from day one. If you’re under 60 I’d worry more about falling in the bathtub. Seriously. The demographic numbers have never justified any special precautions outside retirement facilities. Heck, where was the first outbreak in the US? :D

Three of my friends got it...all in their 70's. None were hospitalized. They found it because one of them had gone to the hospital for a chest xray for pleurisy...unrelated to Covid.

All three had all kinds of serious physical problems.

So why did they survive so easily?? Probably because they worked outside in construction and got lotsa fresh air and sunshine.

This may be my “secret” as well. I live on 32 acres and spend a LOT of time outside, mowing, gardening, cleaning up, etc. And since winter here (the really cold part) is only about 45 days long, this is year round activity for us.

We also very rarely eat at restaurants and don’t do fast food at all.

We do believe they caught it in a saloon. In Upstate NY, Construction Workers THAT I KNOW are pretty much like the cowboys out west.

I agree that life is better when we make up our numbers. I do it every day.

“I believe the numbers have been fabricated for a year now. i.e. there is a reason they want the numbers to be low now - so they’re low.”

Correct, pcr testing cycles are never to be over 25 max, during Trump the CDC set the cycles upwards of 40. Once Biden got in office, the recommendation went out to go back to manufactures suggestions (20 cycles).

And to think, people who did no research bought into all of this, and have now injected themselves with experimental synthetic mRNA that there is no “undoing”.

The people who orchestrated this should be brought up on charges for crimes against humanity.

To be fair, it’s a lot easier for those of us that don’t have TV to not buy into it. If I was steeped in the nonsense these folks see every single day, it would be hard to not believe it.

But that is why I dumped TV in 1997 in the first place. I needed to purge the bull chit from my life.
