Best of all, many apartments at the Trump World Tower are selling at a deep discount — assuming the buyer doesn’t mind the name over the door.
“Fifty percent of the people wouldn’t want to live in a Trump building for any reason … but then there are guys like me,” says Lou Sollecito, a car dealer who recently bought a two-bedroom unit with views of the Empire State Building. “It’s a super buy.”
The purchase price was $3 million, nearly a million less than the seller paid in 2008.

Maybe it is the TOWN and not the Building, let’s check nearby prices and see what the comps are doing in that area. I’m betting it is a lie of omission by the news, and pushing anti-Trump as normal. Garbage leadership makes the downtown unattractive should be the real news story.

Has little to do with the Trump name. My daughter just signed a lease on the upper west side for close to 1/2 of what it used to go for. She will have to get roommates for the last 2 years of law school as the prices will likely shoot back up.

That city is almost to a point where it’s unlivable and they’re all doing cartwheels thinking they got a deal. The city will never have leadership that will bring it out of the gutter that Bloomberg and DeBlasio put it in.
