We’ll see how brave Abbott is if the shooting starts on the Texas border.
Well, Texas does have the right to declare war on Mexico or the cartels, or whoever else is invading its borders, as do any of the other states.
If the shooting starts?!?!! It already is a war. Many Texans have been victimized and countless kids and young girls have suffered, as well. Abbott is doing what needs to be done when the President abdicates his responsibilities.
Already started, and not just in Texas.
That is a real motivation to build the Texas wall, and under the Texas constitution, the governor must protect Texas:
ARTICLE 4. EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT
Section 7: “. . .He shall have power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to REPEL INVASIONS.”
Other states are sending reinforcements. Texas is not alone.
