not really directed at you, but the developers died about 20 years ago. The buildings were built in the 80s, and my guess is that the developers were already old at that point.

essentially, this building collapsed because of poor maintenance and poor management of the maintenance.

One could also say that the build itself was poor because it didn’t account for the pool run-off and the damage it could do to the ground and the infrastructure supporting the building.

Yep, I've seen a few trial balloons tying the collapse to "climate change". Looks like it's a go. Joe will dance on the graves of the victims while spewing "There are thousands of structures and millions of lives around the country that are in imminent danger due to climate change, and it's all Trump's and Desantis's fault."
