NOAA says the following for Virginia Key near Miami: “The relative sea level trend is 2.97 millimeters/year with a 95% confidence interval of +/- 0.21 mm/yr based on monthly mean sea level data from 1931 to 2020 which is equivalent to a change of 0.97 feet in 100 years.”
The chart shows MAYBE 4 inches of average sea level rise since the building was built. Yep, that’s what caused it to collapse.
