If I could make just one small change, it would be that politicians are held to the same laws and medical restrictions as those they govern. And, if I was allowed a second change, it would be that no one can serve in the same elected office for more than eight years. So, four years as, say, mayor, four or eight years as, say, governor, and then a max of eight years in the House or Senate. No continuing financial benefit for having occupied any federal office...like a full retirement benefit...or, a free office in DC. You serve. You get your pay...and that’s it!
