MSNBC anchor Ari Melber said Thursday on his networks breaking news coverage of the Manhattan District Attorney’s case against the Trump Organization and CFO Allen Weisselberg that prosecutors threw the kitchen sink at them.
Melber said, “They have thrown the kitchen sink at the Trump Organization and Allen Weisselberg. This is very bad news for the Trump Organization because the DA’s taken an aggressive tact, indicting the entire Trump Organization in reference to the payroll company and others. If you were the company hoping to pin this on the employee or get out of it as far as the DA is concerned, game over there. They’re going after the whole company. That ensures Donald Trump and others will be drawn out to fight this.”

From what I’ve heard the whole thing is a joke and has no legs.
So basically they are admitting they didn’t find anything wrong when they did prior audits?
But now they do find it?
Effing slimy MF’ers
Disgusting selective political prosecution by the unethical Democratic hack DA Cyrus Vance, Jr. Vance is an enemy of the people and must be held accountable for his crimes.
Just all about dragging Trump’s name through the mud.
I really wish they would try to go to trial against Trump.
This was their strategy with indicting Michael Cohen, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, and Michael Flynn.
Nobody either could or would take a deal and roll on Trump.
I doubt that Weisselberg will, either.
Fishing for a crime for years and all they could come up with is some executive fringe benefits that the company paid the tax on behalf of the employee and calling it a criminal tax evasion?
It’s obvious political persecution. The elites have been desperate to take Trump down ever since he beat them when an outsider was never supposed to have a chance of actually winning.
They are consumed with hatred against him, and many on the left would do anything possible to hurt him and to send a message to anyone else willing to stand up to them and their efforts to gain total control. The Democrats’ full-scale war to eliminate all opposition is marching on.
This is about the Feds trying to coerce Weisselberg into perjuring himself in court and giving false testimony against the President.
This is all about taking eyes off the audits. Talk about desperation.
Trump stole the strawberries. 😆
What stuff like this shows me is that if someone wants to find something you’ve done *wrong*, they can and will look in every nook and cranny until they find it. Since none of us are without sin, I figure they’ll find *something* on someone of their choice (me, you, anyone they want to persecute) one day. They’re after all of us. Trump first, the rest of us, next.
Somehow the Clintons, Obamas, Bidens, and Kerrys of the world escape criminal colonoscopies.
And they can prove it with “geometric logic”.
Yeah, same 'motus operenda ' , same target , but they are quick to point out that this is not a political persecution; balderdash !
The courts, and their implementation of two levels of justice, reveal their total lack of integrity ; ethics be damned !
And the Kishka.
The intimidation is not about getting people to sing. It is all about getting them to compose.
DA Has ‘Thrown the Kitchen Sink’ at the Trump Organization”
Again!!?
Can you imagine the number of phone calls being made on Wall Street today to accountants?
I am not a suit, but anyone familiar with big corporate America knows that bennies like this for the board room are standard practice and this is not typically considered a criminal matter by the state or IRS.
Why do we conservatives call things a “joke” when they are an outrage, an atrocity, an abomination, etc. I never hear Democrats using the word “joke” when they don’t like something Republicans say or do. I know what we mean but it is not helpful to our cause. More powerful words need to be associated with the things that Democrats are doing.
