I remember after the 9/11 attacks there was a flag on every mailbox in our neighborhood. Then as the weeks went by the flags became torn and tattered, fell on the ground, got blown out into the street, etc. It was mostly an empty gesture, even to people who didn’t openly hate our country. It all goes back to the schools and what they no longer teach about the greatness of our country.

Yes, and about the same time the NYT err NY Slimes were basically bankrupt. The other weird thing about those days wasn’t just how they were propped up and bankrolled, made them seem stronger than ever, invincible some might even dare think. But it was like an old western movie where the storefronts were only that nothing more.

Looking back makes me think there are many shoddy corrupt businesses that will soon be blown away by the truth that is coming.

In our California neighborhood right after 9/11, I determined to fly the flag until Osama Bin Laden was caught. I went through 8 flags, that I returned to our local VFW for destroying. I did give up as I figured that he was likely long gone but we weren’t being informed. I still don’t believe that Bammy was the ‘one’ who got him. Our country is being destroyed from within. Khrushchev (wasn’t he the one?) was right.
