How I hate the term “her brand” or someone’s “brand”. Disgusting and stupid.
Her risk of permanent injury isn’t worth the aggravation she is getting. I wish her every future success in her life.

I’m a Seahawks fan. Reminded of Richard Sherman holding his injured arm against his stomach and was still able to cover his guy and knock down passes in some playoff game.
And Russell Wilson that had an injured ankle(?) for several weeks/months. Had a trainer with him 24/7 that would stretch it, ice it and rewrap it every hour - even at night. He didn’t miss a game. To use Simone’s words, that is dealing with things “day by day”.
One of the sports radio guys was recently talking about that during the team meetings. The coach would be speaking and all of a sudden you would hear the ripping of Velcro and the ice bucket noises as the trainer treated Wilson during the meeting.

I watched some of Biles performances. She was not the Biles of before. In the vault event she was obviously way off and scored around 12th in competition. Any talk of faulty scoring is hogwash.
NBC now is the champion of mental health issues after shinning a bright hot spot light on her and making her the face of the Olympics.
Whatever Osaka’s problems are, time is not on her side for an athletic career. She is only hurting herself by not striking while the iron is hot, because time and her youthful years will be marching on.

I think Queen B will be quite disappointed with her marketability when she returns home.
Thought the reverse here, she was getting scores higher than she deserved, ignoring some mistakes due to her reputation.

Betcha she’ll show up for the individuals! Screwed her TEAM out of theirs, but she’ll get hers.
Biles has withdrawn from the individual all around, probably with a big push from the coaches. Jade Carey will move up to the 2nd USA spot, and she has a decent chance at a medal.
She also should withdraw from the four event finals and give the other members of the team a shot, including Mykayla Skinner in the vault final.
If there is a silver lining, it’s giving others an opportunity to make Olympic history.
No kidding! She’s awesome!
