Reinfected COVID survivors less likely to spread virus, study claims

COVID-19 survivors who become reinfected may be less likely to spread the disease or experience severe symptoms, a new study claims.

The patients had lower viral loads during their second bouts of the illness than during their initial infection, according to research from the UK’s Office for National Statistics.

Scientists looked at around 200 people who contracted the virus again more than 90 days after their first positive test or after four consecutive negative tests.

Most people who were reinfected also produced “significantly lower” so-called cycle threshold results in their tests during the first episode of illness, researchers said.

“COVID survivors”

That phrase trivializes the word “survivor”.

They say that now, but when the left want more lockdowns and mask mandates again in the. Near future, they Will reverse that and say, just like they are saying about the vaccinated now, that ‘studies now show that the vaccinated do spread the virus, therefore masks indoors need to be required again’

I’m calling it right now. They are just saying this now, that ‘reinfected less likely to spread virus’, as their ace I. The hole to Trott out later and reverse their claim when they feel they need something to force masks again

'You can’t give the disease to somebody else' | CDC director touts vaccine effectiveness in Dalton

Published: 5:55 AM EDT May 21, 2021

"ATLANTA — The director of the CDC visited the Whitfield County Health Department in Dalton, Ga. to take a tour of the facility and talk with locals on the importance of receiving vaccination."

"The vaccine is working against the variants that we have circulating in the United States. And in general, something that wasn’t studied during the trials, if you get vaccinated, you can’t transfer it to somebody else. You can’t give the disease to somebody else. So in context, we said, you as an individual are safe if you are vaccinated and take off your mask."

Right now it appears the vaccinated are the ones spreading the disease to the vulnerable.

I await the time when Fauci starts speaking about this:

This is cruical information. Higher titers in vaccine recipients is a hallmark of what one would find with antibody dependent enhancement.

I suspect that many of the viral “pieces” that the swab picks up are simply virus fragments from dead viruses destroyed by antibodies as the viruses attempts to invade the cells from an unsuccessful “invasion. Yes, they will result in a positive test result.

Since I’ve had to read up on immunity below is a link to a succinct one-page summary of basics for my fellow FReepers.

“...may be less likely to spread the disease...”

Now there’s a string of definitiveness!
