Long after pandemic pandemonium fades, a majority of Americans still plan to mask-up at the slightest hint of a sniffle.
According to a Washington Post-Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University poll, 67 percent of Americans plan to wear a mask when the pandemic is over if they are sick. Only 31 percent said they would not continue the ingrained practice.

When I am sick with something contagious, I stay home.
Most of Asia has been doing this for decades. I suppose we are late to the party.
Exactly...when I’m sick I’m at home and don’t want anything reducing my oxygen levels...sheesh...
Velkomen to Auschwitz! Me? 25%er.
Masks and Vax will make you free.
The pressure in the “old days” was to go to work, no matter how sick, to show your commitment, to avoid getting fired, or just to get a paycheck. You’d get a lot of coworkers and customers sick, but whatever.
Maybe in the future it will go back to that, but throwing in a cheap mask to pretend you’re not spreading contagion.
Meh. I don’t care who wears a mask, as long as I’m not forced to do so.

For the most part and in most situations, wearing a mask is nothing more than a nasty, dirty, unhealthy bad habit resulting from a carefully crafted public mass hysteria -- "hysteria" being the precise term -- implemented by our government and the media (forgive the redundancy) and by celebrity enraptured "medical experts" over the past 18 long months.
As with any bad habit -- even a bad habit we know can be harmful to us -- in addition to decisiveness and commitment, it takes strength and courage to break free of it; and, sadly, both traits are in very short supply among today's American women and American "men".
Most of Asia is in close proximity to where most of the planet’s diseases emanate from (outside of Africa).
Iām not buying this.
This may be the case in leftist cesspools, but where I live, there are still very few people diapering their faces in spite of all the media hysteria.
Yep. Wasn’t there an old rock song “I Think We’re Turning Japanese”? Well, here we are...
Will. Not. Comply.
All I see is a bank robbers paradise š·
Masking up at the first sign of a sniffle will probably make them sicker.

I live in the NYC area and during the height of the flu season I would see many Asians on the Staten Island Ferry and on public transport wearing masks. Why borrow trouble especially if you have to go to work?
Yet still influenza still circles the globe, as it comes from Asia every year.
Same around here. But the question did ask about it WHEN SICK, not just any time. It is akin to, "Do you floss your teeth?" People say they do .. .
