So, basically, she is saying that she would have rather not been born then have to spend time in foster care.
The foster care system is tough and broken, so...she regrets her birth and doesn’t want anyone to be born that would possibly then have to go into it? That’s her point with the foster care thing or am I missing something here?

The irony is her mother could not care for her kids and it was her grandparents who raised her and her brothers/sisters.
