A Florida county is urging residents to call 911 sparingly as hospitals experience an influx of COVID-19 patients.
Brevard County Fire Chief Mark Schollmeyer said residents should consider other options such as contacting a primary care physician before calling ambulance services, CBS reported.
“Leave emergency room and ambulance trips for those with life-threatening or serious emergencies,” Schollmeyer told the outlet.
Schollmeyer said emergency rooms have been inundated amid the recent surges of coronavirus infections.
“There is a capacity issue at our local hospitals dealing with this new surge in COVID-19,” Schollmeyer told the outlet. “Crowding in the ERs has caused us to hold the wall and wait for our patients to offload before we run the next call.”

If vulnerable people cannot get early treatment options (supplements, online doctors with good therapies, etc.) to help them successfully recover from COVID-19, they really should consider getting a vaccine.
Unfortunately, the vaccines may briefly weaken your immune response and take weeks to be fully active, plus, they can have their own issues.
But whatever you do, don’t call 911 in that part of Florida, because they won’t help you.
I wonder how many are simply having an anxiety attack (due to fear of a virus with an over 99% survival rate) at the same time they have a cold. I know people in tears due to fear - young people.

I have a buddy who is an ER doc. Tells me there are folks, many many folks, who use the ER as their primary care. They don’t go to Urgent Care, just the ER. They show up with minor issues and he has to treat them. Most don’t pay either...
