People, especially in the Republican establishment, don’t realize that the purpose of this humongous increase in benefits for food stamps, unemployment, Medicaid, debt forgiveness, etc., is not to give the benefits, but to make Republicans look callous and nasty when reality intervenes and they have to propose cuts.

I assume they mean the diet that made 66% of American women and 75% of American men overweight or obese. Like that’s a good thing.
“Reduce hunger.” Yeah, right. My family used to volunteer at a food pantry. More than half of the people who showed up were overweight. Many stood outside and smoked before coming in (can afford cigarettes but not food?). Also, another volunteer at the pantry also worked at a convenience store. She said she frequently saw the same people come to her store and pay cash for things like beer, cigarettes and lottery tickets. They’d then whip out an EBT to buy overpriced convenience store junk food.

Unfortunately the idea future parents should plan and prepare for a family is now demonized as “white privilege” all while the baby mamma/baby daddy culture takes over the mainstream. The Left succeeds by keeping people “in their place” and dependent. It’s why they love illegal immigration because they need a perpetual underclass to exploit for power. They are racists and fascists.

My kid uses it to buy formula for her baby. The formula costs almost $30 a can. Has to pay cash for diapers and wipes.
The sad reality is that families will need this food support — thanks to the perhaps 2 million illegals Biden will let in to steal their jobs in his first year alone. Add to that 100,000+ Afghans about to waltz right in and it’s not looking great for the struggling American worker.
Basically, a crooked employer invented an excuse to terminate me in order to steal about $10K in unused vacation and sick time, most likely because they had caught wind of the fact that I was on to their crooked ways.
So, to rub it in, they challenged my unemployment claim, an action which immediately made me eligible for Food Stamps. My wife and I qualified for a bigger allowance than we actually spent on groceries when I was working.
So I win my hearing and qualify for unemployment benefits but, because I am honest and report some gig earnings, the unemployment benefits get suspended until I can prove the gig earnings did not result in a full time job.
So it is back on the food stamps. By the time I can prove the gig earnings did not result in a full-time job to the UC's satisfaction, I actually have a full-time job because Trump has been in office for a month and employers are actually scrambling to find employees. For some odd reason, the people who really want to work get hired first and I'm part of that statistic.
So I report this to the Food Stamp people figuring the benefits will be shut off now. Doesn't happen, so I call again, explain the situation and ask if they want the benefits back. No, they tell me, but they do want me to prove I have a full time job.
So, dutifully, I send in pay stub copies to satisfy them. A couple of weeks later, I get a letter telling me that food stamp benefits will be terminated the following month, not because I have a full time job, but because I declined to take them.
Just, wow! I really don't know how to play this game! Do I?

Wic doesn’t pay for diapers. Didn’t sign up. She doesn’t eat tuna or peanut butter. Very little money and appointments. Not worth hassle. Her formula not on list. We help as much as we can.
