President Biden took questions from a room full of reporters Friday for the first time since the Taliban's lightning-fast takeover of Kabul, but at times the 78-year-old commander-in-chief flubbed his words and offered a series of chaotic contradictions.

I always called her Datho—but maybe that was a mis-spelling.
I hope the NPR reporter who asked a question that was not scripted has his resume ready. But it exposed how scripted the Q&A were when Biden explained “that’s not the question” but fumbled to answer it anyway then was hurriedly ushered out of the room.
