NYC has cameras everywhere.
The guy didn’t ask for help.
His friends didn’t ask for help.
The guy tended to his own wounds and walked AWAY from the cops.
This sounds like proper policing to me. Sure - it’d be nice if the police were good samaritans and I’m sure if DeBlasio were there he would’ve not only rendered first aid but offered him free food from Shake Shack and free money from the working men in NYC.
But the police were and are doing exactly what DeBlasio wanted.
“The article says they never reported the shooting incident, describing it instead as ‘fireworks’.”
The article goes on to say that the gun was left on the sidewalk. I wonder what happened to it.
And he like to wave his diamond rings under everybody’s nose.
"...Chump don't want no help, chump don't get no help..."
I thought gambling and carrying firearms was against the law in in NYC, and how about the drinking in public.
The last first responder that tried to do something about fireworks got the crap beaten out of him so...and that was in Queens.
And if you don’t enforce those laws, you’re a racist.
That explains their caution and hesitancy.
Their Police Chiefs should already know this about that area. If a cop is ambushed and has to fight his way out, he may end up losing his job for ‘being racist’.
