It happens when every baby is born in Michigan, blood sample is taken from the newborn. But a judge has ruled the way the state of Michigan does this, is most likely unconstitutional.
Its a complicated legal ruling, but it may pave the way for changes in the newborn health screening process. “They don’t tell the parents, they don’t explain it to the parents, they just do it,” says Saginaw County attorney Phil Ellison. He is talking about the state of Michigan’s program where it takes a sample of blood from every newborn shortly after birth. The blood is taken to test for diseases. He represents four parents and nine children, who claim the parents didn’t consent to have those blood samples stored and used in research.
A lawsuit was filed in 2018, claiming their constitutional rights were violated and recently a federal judge, in part, agreed. . . .
Millions of blood samples are stored in bio banks in Detroit and Lansing. Ellison says the health screening is important and should be done, but parents should be better informed about the whole process, including how the blood is stored and who has access to it.

I agree with the ruling. Having blood samples can lead to a lot of missuse without any oversight.
Is this along the same lines as when Alex Jones said they were harvesting baby parts. Folks said he was crazy.

This is good news. I knew in the late 80s-early 90s when they started doing an experimental test for HIV on the standard PKU card without telling parents or divulging results that it was wrong and evil. I’m sure it’s only worse now. So glad I’m out of nursing.

However the lure of misuse is too strong in an age where the Deep State controls everything. For example, this could be used to incriminate the innocent for any crime imaginable.

The judge is Thomas Ludington who was appointed by W in 2006. Initially he dismissed the suit, but the 6th circuit told him to reconsider his prior decision.
They take whatever power they want. They don’t care about what we think. Especially when it’s about parental rights and obligations. This is a country where schools deliberately and intentionally hide facts from parents about their kids. A country where they teach kids about all sorts of things without parental consent. No surprise that they would take kids blood without even asking.
They have the samples for 2 months before first vaccinations. Made me VERY uncomfortable.
