Democratic Rep. Debbie Dingell (Mich.) on Friday launched a message to supporters fundraising off of her heated exchange with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on the steps of the Capitol after the Georgia congresswoman started heckling House Democrats over their vote on an abortion access bill.
In the email, Dingell’s reelection campaign team said Greene “attacked Democrats on the steps of the Capitol, heckling and yelling (maskless) after passing the Women’s Health Protection Act.”
“Debbie Dingell stood up against MTG, proving that she is the tough leader we need in Congress who is willing to fight for progress and for us,” the campaign added, referring to the GOP lawmaker by her initials.

Debbie Dingell is a baby killer. As are all who voted for democrats and other pro-abortion legislators. God will not be mocked.

So much to unpack here.
MTG can be kind of nutty, but I like her: she fights!
This bill the Democrat machine just passed is truly awful, so here’s hoping it dies in the Senate.
But that said, the Democrat pols almost got this kinda sorta right: the place to fight this out is in a legislative context, not the courts, where their Roe decision has distorted American politics for the past half century. Of course, this belongs in the state legislatures, not Congress, but it’s far to much to ask that the Democrat congress critters understand that.

Very rational people can come across rather crazy....mostly because what they see of the world can sometimes drive them to despair save that the Holy Spirit sustains them!

Pelosi senses that the Court may narrowly support the Texas’ law since it doesn’t ban abortion outright and setting a precedent that the states can modify abortion conditions and treatments as each state sees fit. She is not sure the court will sustain Roe V Wade in the case coming up in December. She wants to do what congress (and not the court in 1973) should have done(or not done) and federalize and harmonize the abortions in all 50 states. No longer will it be a Supreme court issue but a local issue in all congressional districts and Senate races; as it should have been in the 1974 elections. The law makes it no longer is a ‘”supreme court” issue so my hands are tied, tsk tsk” excuse for feckless politicians to hide behind. This pins down where all the voting congressman and senators really stand!
The only reason Dingell is there is because she was married to a lifetime Congressman who died.
I hope she follows her husband soon.
Since 1933, a Dingell has occupied that congressional seat. SMH
And she turned out to be a thoroughly repulsive human being.
