Peter Doocy reported there is a provision in this bill giving free tuition to illegals. Does anyone know if this is true and how much?
Probably true.
Let me get this straight, the last time an infrastructure bill came thru the House we spent $1 Trillion on infrastructure and we did not even get one (1) single shovel ready jobs out of this bill.
Pelousy was the Speaker.
Where did all of this money go??? This was one (1) trillion dollars that went to the democrats to pay off debts and other things.
I vote to start over and do it right and we get $1 Trillion out for infrastructure jobs. Is this too much to ask for from these folks in the House and Senate.

The easiest way to understand Manchin is Biden’s rock bottom polling numbers in WV. Sinema is a more interesting case - my hunch is she? is quite a bit smarter than your average Dem Senator and sees this bill as the suicide pact that it is.

Then Chuck E. wIll show Manchin “pictures”, photoshopped off neccesssry, and Manchin will switch as he usually does .

You are probably correct.
The problem is that the COST/ actual tree that gets planted will be approximately $25,000/tree.
Seriously, I bet when the GAO takes the $3.5 Billion and then divides that by the actual number of trees that are eventually planted, it will equal some crazy amount like that per tree.
To: babble-on
They will have a big ceremony in some place like the inner city of Detroit or Baltimore where the plant a couple Maple saplings. All the brothers will show up for the nationally televised planting. The congress critter will be awarded a chrome plated shovel.
Two years later 75% of the trees will be dead because no one watered them.

Yes, and it will be the Climate Corps that plants the tree, again a government worker

Manchin is posturing for his voters, now he can get cover for 1.5 trillion which is still 1.5 trillion too much.

No, it has to be a AFLCIO Union landscaper.
The contract will be awarded to the cousin of the Democratic Congress critter. That cousin won the secret bid and gives a kickback to the politician.
They then hire another non union landscaper who uses illegal aliens from Guatemala to actually do the labor.
