Brian Laundrie used Gabby Petito’s bank card in Wyoming just three days after the slain 22-year-old Long Island native was last seen alive, her family’s lawyer said Tuesday.
Petito was last spotted at a Wyoming restaurant on Aug 27, while Laundrie, 23, returned home alone in her van on Sept. 1 — and the boyfriend has since gone on the run from the feds.
“You can look at his state of mind by his actions,” Petito family attorney Richard Stafford said on the “Dr. Phil” show on CBS-TV.
“He ran, he stole her credit card, he used her credit card to get home, and then ran from the police,” Stafford said. “That’s going to show a lot what he was thinking back then

If he was using her bank card, and he had been using her cell phone, this basically means she didn’t just run away or hook up with some other people. It’s foul play.

He obviously thought she was alive. No way he’d use the card if he had just killed her.
He probably have had approval to use the card and the van.

They are using that indictment as leverage for the manhunt when it appears they don’t have the evidence needed for a murder charge. In the end if that charge would ever go to trial, I am guessing he would have a great defense that they shared the account and he had used the card with her permission many times.
I believe he likely killed her but this charge is just a tool to find some way to arrest him.

I guess you could have a point, and I suppose it’s slightly possible, but it strains credulity.
They had been fighting, in mid august, and it was caught on police body cam. They were told to spend a night apart. 3 or 4 days later his parents fly him home for a week. Then he goes back, and after 4 or 5 days out in Wyoming (with her?), he suddenly drives straight back to florida in 4 days, with her van and with her card and at some point texting from her cell phone posing as her... all of this with her permission? nuh uh
The reason he thought he could use her card was more likely that he expected her body not to be found for a while. That’s more likely.

Would be use of card after death regardless of when body found. No way he used card and van after murdering her.
So, you are saying that Gabby gave up all of her worldly possessions to Brian L., including her cell phone, credit cards, travel van and external hard drive to her missing computer--before she committed homicide upon herself? Really?
The last day Gabby was seen alive, they were having lunch when Brian became enraged in a restaurant. He left and came back 4 more times to verbally abuse staff. Gabby cried and apologized. She was never seen again. If he killed her in a rage, he wouldn't have been plotting how best to proceed.

Coffindaffer thinks Cassie is lying about what was/was not discussed Sept. 6 at the campground.
Since Gabby must have given him the pin# to the card, it’s not unreasonable to assume that she also gave him permission to use it.(maybe weeks or months before). I didn’t hear the Petito family attorney on doctor Phil deny that they were sharing expenses.
