For the life of me, I just don’t see how there’s anything wrong with this in DC.
Tired of dull and boring vacations? Then come to DC where a world of chills and thrills happen nightly. Imagine the adrenaline rush of dodging gunfire from random people and speeding cars. The thrill of not knowing if you will be mugged on your way back to your hotel room.

NW DC is a pretty large area. I wonder what street and block. Some commenters asked, but I didn’t see an answer. I was born in DC, grew up in the area, when to high school and worked for government for a few years in DC. When I was young it had a nice little town atmosphere. I have no desire to go back.
There’s a reason I just bought a house an hour from town in a gated community in an area with Trump flags and stickers everywhere. The only sound of gunfire is if you drive 15 minutes to the excellent sporting clays range. Great mountain views and a lovely grill, too.
Murders spiked right at 30% last year, something no one is talking about. This was not because of Covid, it was because of defund the police, ACAB movements.
What street is this? Anyway, they voted for this. So they are going to tolerate more of this crap.
DC was actually turning around until the whole defund the police movement caused by George Floyd riots during the summer of ‘20.
